A one-day seminar is organized on October the 21th, with a particular focus on how research-industry collaborations can meet the challenges of quantum technologies.
2021 May: Single molecules for quantum technologies
Researchers from CEMES, jointly with their colleagues from CNRS-INO, LENS, IQST, Imperial College London, ICFO, University of Erlangen, LION, Polish Academy of Sciences, Universität Münster and ICREA, provide an overview of the opportunities offered by single organic molecules for quantum photonic technologies in a review paper published in Nature Materials.
2021 May: One-day event with the Cité de l’économie et des métiers de demain
A one-day event introducing quantum technologies to a large audience, will be held on May the 25th. This event is co-organised by the Cité de l’économie et des métiers de demain and the Institute for Quantum Technologies in Occitanie, in partnership with Les Echos newspaper.

2021 February: A novel quantum resource for quantum technologies on Silicon
Researchers from L2C report the emission of single photons out of point defects in silicon, paving the way towards novel functionalities for silicon-based quantum technologies. Their results have been published in Physical Review Letters.
