Researchers from LCAR report on the quantum control of matter wave diffraction patterns. This achievement offers new perspectives for quantum calculation with qudits, and for quantum metrology with the accurate measurement weak forces. Their results have been published in Physical Review X Quantum and have been highlighted by the CNRS (CNRS news).
